Owners JEFF and JULIE ANDERSON purchased Rivertown Inn in 1999 with a vision of reviving this architectural treasure and reinstating its place as a landmark property in the charming riverside community of Stillwater. Inspired by their passion for fine antiques, gourmet food and wine, historic preservation, music, gardening and literature, the Andersons have lovingly and meticulously restored the Rivertown Inn to its original grandeur while retaining its Victorian charm and elegance. Operations and General Manager LARRY LOYER's resume reads like an adventure novel … Great Lakes' ship deck hand, art gallery curator, opera house box office manager, self-taught historic home restorer, program operations manager of a children's theater … he has tackled it all with enthusiasm and exuberance. Larry's work behind the scenes includes managing constant and meticulous repairs to the historic inn and grounds, special event programming, as well as art and furniture conservation.

Chef MAGGIE WESCOTT is our hometown treasure. Born and raised here in the Valley, Maggie moved to Montana for college and put down roots there for the next 12 years. Maggie moved back to Stillwater along with her husband Mace and two daughters Anna (6) and Claire (4) and is living her dream of creating nutritious foods that taste exceptional.
